Her career has included seven years at the Cancer Council of Victoria and 12 years as a senior market researcher for SmithKline Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline).

Directives developed the customized web sites for each product including on line payment, e-newsletters and forums designed to attract and maintain relationships with customers. AuctionEdge was sold in 2007 to an American buyer. MarriageGym continues to grow and is promoted internationally through a worldwide internet strategy and in person community based courses run throughout Victoria with plans to extend throughout Australia and internationally in the future.
